Designing and producing TFOSC-WP Polarimeter were financially supported and funded by TUBITAK (Grand No. 113F263), and integration and test steps were supported by TÜBİTAK TUG (Project No:14BRTT150-665). Photometric and spectroscopic observation capabilities of 1.5-m Russian – Turkish Telescope RTT150 has been broadened with the integration of WeDoWo polarimeter. Integration of TFOSC-WP has increased RTT150 telescope’s capabilities in ground-based observational support of European Space Agency astrophysical space mission GAIA.
Project team (Assoc. Dr. Selçuk Helhel, Dr. İrek Hamitoğlu, Electronics Engineer Gizem Kahya and Optician Cevdet Bayar) was prepared a manuel for all astronomers' usage.
Polarimeter will be open to all researchers who want to use in their projects in 2016.
